Lian Li, an aluminum chassis manufacturer, has created the PC-XB01, a replacement chassis for the Xbox 360. 

The PC-XB01 is a replacement for the stock chassis, and is designed to stop heat-related problems, as well as reduce the noise level that's so irritatingly present.

The PC-XB01 is equipped with a 1500rpm silent rear fan to draw heat out of the Xbox, and uses foam to reduce the noise levels from the optical drive.

Dust and external debris, a factor that could lead to damage from overheating, is kept from entering the system using dust covers over the ports.

The new chassis is similar in size to the original, and is designed so that the system can be positioned either horizontally or vertically without issue.

Lian Li warns that some DIY skills and knowledge are needed to replace the chassis, so get a friend to help if you don't know what you're doing.
