Earlier this year, AMD officially announced the introduction of the new ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3000 series of mobile GPUs. Back then the primary offerings from this series comprised of ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3600.
Now we have more details on the rest of the Mobilty Radeon HD 3000 product lineup.
The entry-level ATI Mobility Radeon HD3430 will be powered by M82 GPU coupled with 40 Stream processors. The mid-range Mobility Radeon HD3650 will be equipped with M86 GPU and 120 Stream processors. It can be bundled with GDDR3/GDDR2 memory depending on the end manufacturers (GDDR2 is generally adopted to keep the costs down).

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650
The flagship ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3000 series products are HD 3850, 3870, 3850 X2 and 3870 X2. All these four cards are based on the M88 GPU core (RV670). ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3850 and 3870 are mid-range offerings for gaming laptops. These will be powered by 320 Stream processors and 512MB of GDDR3 memory. They will compete directly with popular Nvidia products like GeForce 8600M, GeForce 8700M and GeForce 9500M.
The ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3850 X2 and 3870 X2 are CrossFire pairs featuring 1GB of total video memory and 640 Stream processors.
