Antec TrueBlue 2.0 480W Power Supply

Antec has become a name synonymous with PC power supplies, cases, and accessories. Since 1986, Antec has been dedicated to the high-performance computer components industry. The TruePower 2.0 line is an updated model of their extremely popular TruePower line of power supplies. Some new features include, a single 120mm low noise fan (average noise level is 21.3 dBA), dual 12V outputs, ATX12V 2.01 compliant, four (4) SATA connectors, PCI Express graphic card connector(s). Various models of the TruePower 2.0 are available, ranging from 380W all the way up to 550W.

In this review we will take a look at a new power supply from the True Power 2.0 line, dubbed the TPII480 TrueBlue. The TrueBlue model is only available in a 480W configuration, and features blue LED internal illumination (perfect for case modders).

A power supply is the heart of a PC, and we will be putting this unit through extreme temperatures and loads to ensure it operates as specified, and has proper safety mechanisms in place.
